Developing this newly designed site over the past few months has been a labour of love. I hope you like the results!

If this is your first visit to Mocha, let me tell you a little bit about us ... Mocha was launched in 2000 by husband and wife team Samuel and Sarah. We bring you a global edited collection of modern home accessories, furniture and gifts.

A long time in the planning, it was a trip to Milan that acted as the catalyst that finally propelled us to launch.

The designers we met there from around the world, and the designs we saw totally inspired us. We realised that design can transcend language or location and can communicate directly with us, wherever we are. But more than that, home accessories and furniture can completely transform the look and feeling of a space. Interiors have the power to uplift, inspire or encourage you to relax. They can help change your whole outlook on life.

Sometimes, just a single object can change your mood. Think of coming home after a stressful day and the comfort of having a hot drink out of your favourite mug.

Gift ideas need not be extravagant and stunning interiors don't have to be expensive. Sometimes a few simple touches can make all the difference.

We spend a great deal of time considering and searching for original new products with that special something. They might be multi-functional, space saving, eco friendly or just a creatively designed accessory that makes you smile.

We particularly like supporting up and coming designers and small businesses. We welcome hearing from new designer/makers and small manufacturers.

Each time we find a great new item it is a little like falling in love. A well designed product is imbibed with the inspiration, thoughts and passion of the designer.
